Training Session FAQ

How long do sessions last?

The webinars run from approximately 30 to 45 minutes in length depending on the content.

Which sessions should I take?

If you don't know where to start, start with the Foundation trainings. Our Intro session will guide you through an overview of the system as a whole and getting your account basics set up. Once you have that knowledge, take our Building Events webinar to learn how to build out your events, Selling Tickets to learn how to run your ticket office through our Point of Sale systems, and Season Tickets to set up your packages and/or memberships if you have a season ticket or subscription program. While these sessions are catered to new clients, if you hire new supervisory staff in the future, they can they take these sessions as well! 

Once you take those Foundational sessions, you can learn about the full range of features to help you get the most out of the system with our Fundamental sessions. While these training sessions are not required, they greatly enhance your ability to use your account to its full potential.

Do I need to take the sessions in a specific order?

While it's not required to take the sessions in order, we find that having foundational knowledge (covered in Intro to Select and Building Events) will help understand topics that are not covered in all sessions.

For example, we don't cover how to build an event in the Season Tickets webinar, but your events must be built before you build your Season Tickets, so we'd recommend taking the Building Events before the Season Tickets webinar for your own clarity!

Are sessions public or private?

All our standard training sessions take place in a group with other Vendini clients.

Can I ask questions on the webinar?

Of course, we encourage questions! There is a Q&A box where you can ask any questions throughout the session about any of the content covered.

Will Vendini train all of my staff members?

We use a "train the trainer" approach. We will train your organization's supervisors so that they can train staff members as needed.

Are the sessions available to review on demand?

There are plans in the future to have the sessions hosted online for current clients to review, but currently these can be sent on a case by case basis. Reach out to the support team or your launch coordinator who will be able to assist you further!

What if none of the sessions fit with my schedule?

Feel free to sign up for a session! All registrants will be emailed a copy of the recorded session that you can watch on your own time. If you have any other questions about training, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-901-7173, ext. 2.

Can I repeat a session?

Absolutely! You're welcome to sign up for as many training sessions as you like.
